is a beautiful specimen of a
White Scorpion Spider Conch Shell with Numerous Sharp Spikes that is in Great Condition. It only weighs .06 lb., is 5 1/2" long, the internal opening is 1" long, the shell is 2 3/4" wide, 2 1/4" tall when laying flat and most of the longer spikes are 1 1/4 to 1 1/2" long. Supposedly these spikes help keep this mollusc from being flipped over by wave action as well as protection from mollusc eating fish.

Hello bidder and watchers, I'm going to close down this listing and then relist it. I unscrewed the end hardward out of the handled of the one handle where the hardware looked like it was missing a piece. When I got it unscrewed, I could see that other side of the yoke or fork was broken off. So, unless a new fork is welded on, this handle will not be functional. sorry folks for not exploring this better before I llisted it.Paul
