I have here a
Vintage DAILY NEWS TOO TOUGH TO DIE 1¾” PINBACK
.
I’m not sure of the age probably late 1970s-1980s (it’s my husband’s, he’s cleaning out his desk at work – retiring later this year after 44 years at the same company, so he is unearthing things from 1977!!). I’ve known him since 1990 so I am quite certain it is from before then. The pin is in excellent condition
BUT the actual pin apparatus on the back is missing – it’s JUST THE FRONT PORTION
, it cannot be pinned on to anything the way it is now.
It’s quite a unique item and a great piece of NEWSPAPER MEMORABILIA!! A great addition to the any collection!!
