    Giant Australian Trumpet Conch Syrinx Aruanus Sea Shell
    The Syrinx aruanus, Australian trumpet or False
    Trumpet, is an extremely large oceanic sea snail
    measuring up to 35 inches long with a live weight up
    to 40 pounds. It is the only marine mollusk species
    in the genus Syrinx.
    This shell is one of three from a private collection for
    many years. This was once a living snail in the ocean
    and being created in nature, has some natural irregularities.
