    Description

    Up for sale is this wonderful antique Schuco Germany miniature yes-no mechanical monkey.  The highly sought after piece features a 5 inch tall jointed fur monkey with panted tin face and felt hands and feet.  Manipulate the wired mechanism in the back and it makes the head turn up/down for "YES" and side to side for "NO".  The wire tail fur part is no longer present...just the wire.  The up and down "YES" part of the mechanism works well and smoothly.  The side by side "NO" part of the mechanism takes some maneuvering to place it in the right spot but we did get it to work after getting it into the right place.  We will leave the adjustments to alleviate this issue to the new buyer.  Fur and felt clean and in nice condition.  Tin face has some minor expected wear but still retains about 98% of original paint.  Joints move smoothly.  All in all, a great piece!!
