Sansui CA-2000 Preamplifier, Excellent+ Condition, Just Serviced

I am offering for sale a very nice Sansui CA-2000 preamplifier that has just been serviced. This unit is extremely flexible as it has a multitude of inputs and outputs. It has a tuner input, two auxiliary inputs, two phono inputs, with adjustable sensitivity and cartridge loading on phono 1, two tape I/O’s, and two switchable outputs for use with two power amplifiers. This unit was just stripped down, cleaned and controls and function switches treated. The faceplate and control operators were removed, washed, waxed and polished.
It is ready to go to work for you.
This preamplifier is part of a complete Sansui Definition system that I purchased from a retired Roberts and McIntosh service technician located in Orlando, Florida in 1994. It has been a system that I have rotated in and out of my stack since that time. I have four complete systems manufactured by different companies and I run each for a couple of years, put them in storage and rotate them out and put them back into operation after a complete tear-down and service. I had an opportunity to acquire a nice Sansui CA-3000 preamp that I have always wanted to try, and after going through it and getting it all peaked up, I have decided to add it to that system and make the CA-2000 available for someone else to enjoy. I now have more equipment than I will ever have time to use and decided to make some of that equipment available to others.
Due to the age of the unit, it is sold as-is, with no warrantees, written or implied. I do guarantee it not to be DOA and to be in the condition as described. If you happen to live nearby, local pick-up is OK and encouraged. If shipped, it will be very carefully packed and the cost of packaging and shipping by the USPS will be in the lower 48. I am not set up to ship internationally, sorry. I will insure the unit for the amount of the cost of sale.
The buyer must contact me with shipping instructions within three days and payment must be made within five days. I prefer PayPal but also accept bank drafts and direct payment with local pick-up. If these conditions are not met, the transaction will be voided and the item re-listed.
