This rare
Schuco Cat Hand Puppet
from the "Bi-Ba-Bo" series was finely handcrafted in Germany during the 50s. Its baby-like expression, with glass eyes and hand stitched nose, is adorable. Its body is made of mohair plush. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This sweet little puppet has been loved and shows play wear, gained during its approximately 70 years of life. It will certainly be a welcome addition to any vintage puppet collection!*
Condition
: Used and pre-owned vintage puppet without ID. Shows play wear with some bald spots, light stains, matted and worn areas. The mohair plush has darkened/yellowed with age and there is a glue mark at the back of the neck. Note the collar and bell are new additions. Please determine the condition by yourself, taking a close look at all pictures and asking questions.
