    Description

    Very rare wonderful antique Schuco Acrobat Messenger Monkey Bellhop w Trapeze Stand 1920 Clockwork 28cm 11in. Mechanism works! Condition is "Used". As shown. Clothes red felt nice no holes but faded soiled bit. 1 eye cracked. Legs show excelsior here & there. Paw pads on feet have few holes showing excelsior. Right hand has bit wear where connection is too metal stand. A very rare find!!! Shipped with USPS Insured Mail.

    Black felt collar, buttons and accents on shoulders
    Black twill painted legs, integral trousers, showing wear on sides of legs
    Original black metal trapeze stand (black colour may be a later repaint job), rare to find animal with original stand
    Hands have tubes that attach to tabs on stand
    Arms, head and legs stuffed with excelsior wood wool
    Body is metal, covered with felt/fabric
    Clockwork mechanism does not need key or winding, unique flywheel construction so that he can tumble backwards or forwards
    Needs a little encouragement to complete the tumbling action
