-->  There is very little information available about this award. Apparently, it was given to newspaper boys who showed valor while selling papers. The only article I found on the Internet stated that by the year 1950, only five of them had been awarded at that time.  The pin measures approximately 11/16 of an inch in diameter (it has a scalloped edge), and the front is marked, "Newspaper Boy Valor Award," along with the initials, "NYSCMA," for New York State (and City) Circulation Managers Association.  The back is marked, "B.B. Co. 10K."  The gold is 10K.
