Description
First of all I know nothing about American Indian artifacts, all the information in the description was provided to me from people that know about these items, for all I know I am selling a rock. I was told this is called a Riverstone Axe or Maul stone head from the Indians in north Georgia. I've seen similar items on line that look identical to this so pretty confident it is an actual item. I found this years ago walking near a river near Helen Georgia in the Blue Ridge mountains and it seemed odd and out of place to the other rocks nearby. The axe is 9.5" long and 2.5" tall and wide at the longest points. Again know nothing about this item and going of others knowledge so any more info would be appreciated. Thanks,
Dave
