Antique SCHUCO 1920's "Yes No" TEDDY BEAR 17" Mohair & Excelsior Good Original

Description

This is a 1920’s 17” Teddy Bear from Schreyer & Co of Nuremberg Germany, commonly called by trademark Schuco.
His tail mechanism works well and turns his head Left & Right and Up & Down for Yes or No.
He is stuffed with Excelsior and has linen foot pads (mostly lost) that I understand can be replaced with vintage fabric to return to original condition.
His Mohair coat has very little losses but could use a good cleaning.
The shoe button eyes and finely stitched cord nose is in excellent condition and has four claws on each foot.
This is a rare chance to get a Museum quality Bear only looking for a cleanup and refresh to his linen pads.
