This is a Brand New lot of (2) Panasonic Angular Rate Sensor / MEMS Gyroscope Part # EWTS82Generally the Panasonic EWTS82 is just the sensor, however this specific part was prepared for production assembly and includes the mounting bracket & Molex style 3 pin wire-to-board connector.
This assembly was performed by DENSO who is a leading supplier of advanced automotive technology, systems and components for all the world's major automakers. When made by Denso the specific part number for this assembly is DW462752-0080 and Denso made this assembly specifically for Toyota Tsusho America.

MEMS gyroscope, or strictly speaking MEMS angular rate sensor, are used whenever rate of turn (°/s) sensing is required without a fixed point of reference. This separates gyros from any other means of measuring rotation, such as a tachometer or potentiometer.
This angular rate sensor uses CORIOLIS force generated by a vibrating tuning fork. This sensor consists of sensing and driving elements, a tuning fork driving circuit and the signal processing circuit. The super-miniature tuning fork has a unique electrode layout design to help reduce the number of circuit components. This results in a compact and reliable angular rate sensor
