    Purchased in 1987, and sitting in the box, unused, since then. Tested perfect on a 2A motor load. Opened back cover and everything looks great. Originally for a wood stove blower fan, but worked well for testing on a jigsaw power tool. Rated at 115V AC power up to 3 amps. Fine tuning adjustment with screwdriver (included). Nice variable speed controller. All functions were tested and OK as you’d expect.
